Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the USURA.IO application and website (the "Service"), operated by CDWJ LLC ("USURA", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Service.

USURA.IO provides budgeting and money-management tools, optional account connections, debt and collection-letter tools, a rewards and quest feature, and optional coaching. The Service is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not, and does not provide, professional financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and we are not a bank, lender, fiduciary, credit-repair organization, investment adviser, or law firm. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation. Coaching is educational and supportive in nature and does not create a fiduciary, attorney-client, or licensed-advisory relationship.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

If you connect financial accounts, you authorize us and our provider Plaid to access and refresh information from those accounts to provide the Service. Account data may be delayed or incomplete depending on your institution, and you remain responsible for verifying important figures against your institution directly.

• The Service offers a free tier and paid tiers, including Premium and coaching tiers. Features available to you depend on your plan.
• Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe at the then-current price and interval until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Discount codes and rewards earned through the quest feature are subject to their stated terms and any cap, may change or end, and have no cash value.
• We may change prices on a going-forward basis with notice; continued use after a change means you accept it.
• Coaching tiers may include a limited number of live sessions plus access to recordings, as described at purchase. Sessions and recordings are for your personal use, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users' data, interfering with security features, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

The Service relies on third parties including Plaid, Stripe, and Twilio. Your use of those features is also subject to their respective terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, USURA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold USURA harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you consent to their jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first at support@usura.io so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be accompanied by additional notice.
